Kyoto Cafe: Sweets Cafe KYOTO KEIZO

Okay. I went all the way to this Omiya-area shopping street to check out this dessert place - Sweets Cafe KYOTO KEIZO. It was pretty full so I was planning to just quickly check the shop out, eat something and then leave.

When I went inside, only the counter seats were available so I just sat at one of the counter seats. Straight to the staff - they are one of the best cafe staff that I've met! They were all friendly, helpful and just so nice. I tried their Keizo set of sweets, as a set with an iced coffee.

The shop has a lovely ambience, lovely decor (I love the colors too!), and I just enjoyed my time there too much I think. I was going to leave, but before I left I went to the toilet (at the back) and when I came back inside (from the outdoor area), I stopped in front of the bookshelf and found some magazines that I really wanted to view! (not read, because I can't read Japanese :P)

And I remembered from reviews I read before coming to try their 10 minutes montblanc. There were just so many reasons to keep me there, so I did.

I asked the staff if I could sit on a seat with a real table, then she asked me to wait a bit then I got the table near the window - near the bookshelf! I was so happy. The staff also told me that I can see KEIZO-san making the montblanc (they let the customers see the pastry chefs making the dishes).

What an experince. To add, seriously. It. Was. AMAZING. The montblanc was just soooo out of this world and just... it's my favorite dessert now. I believe it's worth everything now lol.

Anyway, I had the best time there and I left the place very satisfied. Please have a great time there too! In the end I spent about 3 hours there and ordered 2 dessert sets.
