Shiba Raku Café (Kyoto Station area)
My friend E and I requested for the same day off because we wanted to try the melon and mango bugget at Hotel Granvia Kyoto. However, we were too early even after we spent some time at Kurasu. We were so hungry that we googled cafes around the area and
we discovered this lovely place, Shiba Raku Cafe!
The location is a little bit in as it's more in the residential area, but definitely worth the walk. The staff was a Westerner, so it was really easy to order and stuff. Not exactly close to the Kyoto station, but still within walking distance. It felt long because it was a hot day.
We ordered the Monte Cristo Sandwich and it was soooooo good! Oh, and you MUST try eating the sandwich with the blueberry jam. Sounds like an interesting combination, but trust me. It's magical. We spent almost 2 hours there just slowly eating and talking and taking pictures.
E and I really enjoyed our light lunch. Then we proceed to a temple near Kyoto station!
Good food, good day!
