Kyoto Cafe Hopping - Kitano Tenmangu area (4/4) - Patisserie Cafe 3eme

Greetings from Kyoto!

The last cafe I went to during my visit to Kitano Tenmangu shrine area was Patisserie Cafe 3eme

I honestly didn't have much money to spend, so decided to spend only for dessert. Miku, the barista from Latte Art Junkies 2nd, told me that she once visited the cafe and she loved the dessert. In the end, after browsing through the many choices, I chose their new seasonal dessert called 'Sakura no Blancmange'

I don't exactly know what Blancmange is, but according to Wikipedia, Blancmange is a sweet dessert commonly made with milk or cream and sugar thickened with gelatin, cornstarch or Irish moss, and often flavoured with almonds. It is usually set in a mould and served cold.

I sat on the second floor, dominating the sofa and I felt very relaxed there. The staff was very friendly and fast, too.

This cafe has, again, very cute decor. Especially the first floor where the kitchen was.

Percentage of coming back? 73%.

*Note: percentage of coming back is not rating. It doesn't mean that it's a bad place, it's just my personal opinion whether I would go all the way back. I may be going back again if I don't have any more places on my list to visit.

That's the end of my Kitano Tenmangu Shrine area trip! For dinner, I ate at a shokudou (some kind of cafeteria? Canteen?) nearby my apartment. I ate tonkatsu, some chicken and vegetables, also a bowl of udon. I ate a lot. Have a great day! Wait for my next cafe review :P
