Kyoto Cafe - Cafe Bibliotic Hello!

Today after another tiring day of work, I went to a cafe that my friend went to and posted it on her Instagram story. Not only that it is located in between my apartment and my workplace, I'm happy because I could explore more areas of Kyoto. I think I'm in this too deep now. I just love exploring new streets and new scenery so much. The cafe that I will be covering in this post is Cafe Bibliotic Hello!

But first of all, I would love to introduce you a small temple that I saw on my way to the cafe! Shunanzan Makotokomyoin Zendo Temple. I was so surprised - when I looked to my right, there the gate was - like a path to... somewhere else... I never saw that gate open (I don't know why. Maybe just me being ignorant?), so I immediately went in to see what's inside. The first impression was so strong!

I also found out that the area near my workplace has many antique shops.
Like this area, Teramachi-dori, looks like this. Very clean and pretty area (that's basically how Kyoto looks like, though), and just... petite.

Some shops are very cute and unique. Well. As always.

Then I saw a cute little bakery - next to a bunch of banana trees.
Like, what...?

Then I was like, "Oh! This is the cafe!"

I went in. The cafe was full. I came in at the wrong time... It was nearly 6pm. But they got me a seat at the back - where I had to share a table with people. But still, I was comfortable and satisfied. The place is full of books, very nice ambience, lighting, and comfy sofas!

I then decided to order just a cake to save money (and that's my dinner), but apparently they do not allow ordering only cake. So yeah I also ordered a latte.

And here was my super delicious Cafe Bibliotic Hello!'s original mont black. I would recommend getting this cake, really.

Also, the latte art was amazing! Pretty, lovely color, and strong taste.  This place is perfect for reading books, or just casual hang out, or just... anything. To kill time, to relax, or to just eat something.

I stayed there until around 7pm. I paid, and then walked around the cafe to take pictures.

A funky place.

The key point of this cafe's decor is the high ceiling. They have second floor - which can fit only 6 people in total, and bunch of books and magazines. Look down!

I would definitely come back - often - if the price was a bit cheaper. And they open until late, so it's very convenient if I just want to relax!

Finally, I walked home. The sky was getting pink - my favorite time of the day! Too pretty for pictures, really.

Also, found a local sentou (public bath) on the way, and some restaurants!

That was a nice walk home.
